Granted, it’s only been a day (although that’s usually plenty to know if I like a video game or part of it) and hopefully some of you guys like the new method. For myself, H2H was the part of the game I enjoyed most. I was rarely ever in a league, as I just liked playing one on one matches.
With the scoring change to fantasy points and that you must just score as much as you can and as fast as you can, it really takes away from the enjoyment of taking a few seconds to look at the playbook, or heck maybe even just pause the game to respond to someone around you. True, it’s only 3 minutes, but it just feels very boring for me. I apologize for the negativity, but I don’t see how they will be able to change it from a find a couple plays and spam the heck out of it method. It will just be adjustments by EA all season, that will most likely end up very similar to the last few months of last season, where they will need to focus on major changes for next season.
