I used to be a dedicated player (ending MM17 around 200 on the H2H leaderboard, for example), but I walked away back in March. I came back to try out Overdrive, mainly because of my amazing league. After a week of grinding, I am done again. Heere is why:
1) I Hate Overdrive Mode: It is simply not enjoyable to see who can mindlessly chuck it the best or have their pressures randomly fire the most.
2) Pressures: From challenges popping up after you've already selected the play to being impossible to pass (or calling a pass a failure), how did such a poorly executed idea make it into the actual release with these issues?
3) Stamina > Blitz Tokens: In years past, you'd strategically time level-ups at the beginning of the season to use stamina refills to spam events. Now you have to play an ungodly amount of Overdrive in order to repeat events that cost an ever-increasing amount of tokens.
