Trying to understand the actual scoring methods used during overdrive matches. The first question that I have is, why is there variable scoring for passing and rushing? What I have noticed is there seems to be no consistent score per yard for either of these, I have seen anywhere from 1.8 pts per pass yard to 4.2 pts per pass yard. The same is true for rushing yards. This may have to do with captain bonus but I am not sure how that would work, on the game stat screen bonus is listed at the top followed by td, pass, rush, def, first down, fg. Exp my last match opp avg 2.44 pts per pass yard I avg 2.08 pts per pass yard. Both of us received captain bonus for passing his 80 pts mine 130 pts. Rush yards opp had neg rush yards but still managed positive points, I averaged 2 pts per yd.
Second question. 1st and 10 pass complete for 13 yds my pts 30 opp pts 30 How does opp score in that situation, there is no pressure box on that play or any play within this whole drive. That was my first play of the drive.
