Anyone gambling on the 500 MC TOTY packs?
They were nothing special - just toty tokens for the promo starting tomorrow...
They offered 2 SB elites for 2k MC
Maybe 1 TOTY elite from both packs, but not counting on it
I went ahead to took a shot on them. Have 105 now, would love to see SB badges be cut for more.

Yea, I decided on holding my MC for now. I know they switch it up every year, but I have a feeling that the standard EA pricing is 5000/10000 MC for a top tier card so these 500 MC packs are likely 1/10th of that.
I thought about it but waited. Hoping for better packs during the promo. Plus it seems this year the best thing is to flip golds and then just buy the cards as the price drops.
Take from this what you will, but this screenshot is from last year:
3 badges = 1 TOTY gold 20 TOTY gold = 1 TOTY elite 9 TOTY elite = 1 TOTY master
This seems par with what we've had this year with promos and sets.
I got both and with the event have 107 . Players will probably be 500 each or 10 badges with 50 collectibles getting you 1 badge
In my opinion it’s not gonna do much for you, but I don’t have any idea what the promo will be like. In my experience 500 MC never got me that much for a promo.

I'm holding my madden cash for a possible pack tomorrow Waiting to see the sets and players. May regret passing on this pack today but guess we will see tomorrow
It seems odd that they are offering 2 packs before any information is released on TOTY. Marc has stated that he's excited about it and that he isnt blowing smoke which make me wonder even more what TOTY will bring.
What I'm wondering most is if they are rewarding the early adopters of MC spenders. It seems like a pretty good idea for them to do that because it'd promote MC spending. 50 TOTY collectibles seems like a lot.
