Has anyone actually had their MM account hacked by showing their coin/MC total on MH?

Seems completely ridiculous to me

Only thing I don't get is, why go by that? Wouldn't you have to keep some kind of ledger or something? Amounts are always changing, or do the expect you to screenshot every time it changes?

strayboogie

Well I'm next to broke so I would have nothing to screenshot LoL but good info to know. Thanks guy's

I have a problem recovering a guest account I’ve had this issue previously and it was recovered in 40 minutes but i supplied my UID, this time it has taken a week and I still don t have it back.  What I don’t understand it i this time they never asked for my UID and all of the other information could easily be guessed, so why don’t they just stick to if you using the UID to recover accounts?

It isn't hacking, hacking would be if you used some sort of program to invade someone's account. It's account stealing and it's EA's fault for having virtually no account security

You are right. drsweg0: I think EA is now doing a lot more research before they hand over accounts.  Will take a few days longer, but will have fewer issues. As long as they remember to tell the EA Customer Service reps to stop.

For ex, if I shared a screenshot of my MC/coin amount, I don't think anyone could trace it back to my MM username (that only my leaguemates know).

It is for all accounts.  People often do have issues with logging in using the linked accounts. EA does not see the info you have saved with FB, Gamecenter, or Google.  Just that FB, Apple or Google say you are legit.

Random Jerry was the first more famous person to lose his account. It was confirmed by himself. The dude streamed Random Jerrys account while he was going on a spending spree. Word on the street is it was Sincere that did it under an alias of James something. Sincere is like a Top 50 H2H guy that always stays leagueless because everyone knows how he is. Having total, ovr, etc is all EA required to give out a recovery code. Than it happened to some leagues

I agree, but since EA took off Google Support on iOS, I had to get rid of my alt and threw my current account into Facebook (I have two, forgot one so I made another one with a bomb roster).

This makes sense, they should just have more ways to identify an account, that way it's simple for everyone.

It is not happening in MH. The person is in the league.  That is where the info is being found. He joins the league and then once in the league finds out the leaguemates coin/cash totals.

That's a really good point. What I think the "hacker" did was he specifically went after the KOK guys because anyone can look up their usernames. But how did he get ahold of their coin/MC amounts? Did they post them somewhere?
