I got lucky and pulled Cox from the Top 100 80 set on my 2nd try (needed a DT). Then poured all my collectibles into him to train him up. Months later, was able to buy 90 Suh from the AH. Poured trained Cox into Suh for a nice upgrade right from the start. Now building up Suh with the Daily Event and Daily Pack. Wondering if any new ones will ever come out.
I just have Top 100 Suh up at a 100 overall. Any top 100 player is a pain to upgrade, but having just one makes it reasonable to get them to a top (competitive) tier.
As others have said. No tips or tricks. The only person I could see making it onto my team would be that DT Fletcher Cox. Still doing it to prepare for Position Heroes and Bosses
don't have more than 2 top 100 players on your team idealy. Cut extra players for 5 collectibles
Keep one of the Jones, and cut the other two for collectibles. Use those collectibles to train Jones (to maximize TP) and then use him to train whatever T100 player you get next -- to get one you want, buy off the AH when T100 packs are in the store.
I have several T100 players on my bench who I'm using like this, and will dump them into Suh when they have a million+ TP.
The struggle is real, I had to complete the set at least 15 times to get Cox (Back in November when top 100 players were really expensive) :(
Yeah, I have the Top 100 Daily Pack. Just get a collectible, It's only Level 1.
I also use The Gift That Keeps on Giving from UF @ Level 2 - i think it's somewhat decent
i only have a 3rd lockeroom slot - I've been using a silver powerline daily pack (LV 5) but think I'm going to switch to the silver TOTW Level 4 based on advice to focus on that, as i just got my 140th powercell so it's a long grind for more.
I have a gold war room daily pack but i have 3 gold game plans, 2 silver, and a silver point-after - so it's not a focus right now
the only reason its best lineup is because he has a boost, and drops are happening to everyone, if you think the collectibles are better off training people like peterson, hilton or jones then use em to train, if not you can try to pull someone different, unless you don't like any of the people
The set gets frustrating. Better to buy the actual Top 100 player you want, and use the collectibles to train them. Also, if you are going to have a Top 100 player, be sure to equip the Top 100 Daily Pack (Elite item). Guaranteed free collectible(s) every day + a chance at a player.
I'm new, my only other Top 100s are an 85OVR Patrick Peterson,ho is my Nickel CB, and WR Ty Hilton who is my flex. I have Captain Munnerlyn trained to 89 at main CB and the best-lineup thing wants a level 79 Kevin Peterson PowerLine opposite him. It seems like when i don't go with the best line-up stupid fumbles and drops happen whereas if i go with what they recommend, it works better.
i have a TOTW James Harrison at LB that will expire tomorrow so Chandler Jones will probably go back in and i could train him.
well what other top 100 players do you have? Are they worth the training? And no, no method to pulling a guy. I'd recommend to only keep one or two top 100 as they are a pain to train but if the 80s are helpful then you might as well keep trying, unless you have other top 100s
I'm 3 for 3 in getting Chandler Jones. Is there some sort of method to this? LIke for example, am I just entering his collectible first into the set so it gives me him?
even though i still have several gold players on my line-up, i think i'm just going to start using the collectibles to train players rather than keep getting Chandler Jones. Good idea?
