Threw a Pick and Then What?!?!

In All-Madden H2H, I made a dumb decision and chucked it deep for a pick on my first play.  TG Antoine Bethea, boosted to a 92 OVR, ran it back for a sure pick-six.  He hit the five, with no one within ten yards, and dove for the TD, only to land at the one and get tagged down after returning it 74 yards.  I have played an ungodly amount of H2H and have thrown my fair share of picks, but I have never seen a defender do anything so stupid.  Has anything similar ever happened to anyone else?  I checked Bethea's stats and he only had 83 AWR, but I still couldn't believe it.

Update: I ended up winning the match 16-14.  Even though I have been getting hosed out of points and wins because of consecutive open drops or open drops on 4th down,  I feel bad for the guy who lost to me because of this silliness.

I threw a stupid pick in last weeekend's tournament on 4th down.   Defender fumbled and recovered it for a touchdown
