I have issues with the training program, but I think that it could be improved if we were able to undo training and receive training vouchers. So, say you've sunk 200k training points into training a player but have decided to upgrade. You could undo the training of that player and sell him instead of being stuck with an extra player whose only remaining purpose is training. Then you could choose what amount of the training voucher you'd like to apply to training a player. This seems like a more user-friendly training program than training making players permanently nonauctionable.
This also makes it easier to try new players. Because of how they've nerfed players' base stats, it is risky and try a new player when they don't have viable stats unless they are trained. You have a dilemma between playing with the player untrained and not being able to properly gauge their abilities, or going out on a limb and training them, thus making them nonauctionable.
