Making coins off of promos?
This is a great idea. I will also be trying this approach and see how it goes. Just sell everything and won't building anything. Will buy the players and boss cards that I want towards end of the promo. Only downside you have to wait and not be able to use those masters right away. Good luck!
I do a mix of both as well. This promo tho is a little more difficult or at least for me. The 90’s players are not selling for much at all. Been making more off selling the 75+ and the 80+ than I do making the 90’s this time
I usually do both--build and make coins, so I guess you could say I make less coins than those who sell everything. That said, I find it's really a matter of watching the market. When the promo first drops, sell everything, including 75s. Eventually, 75s don't hold their value so you might be better off building and selling the higher level players. Again, I always make coin, but not as much as others, so others probably have a better strategy than me.
No, don't use the 75s to make 80s, that's for sure. You can sell the golds alone for 25k. Do not use the 80s to make 95s either, that's a lose too. You can snipe the 90-91 for a mill or so and sell them back for 1.5 during high traffic hours. I've made about 10 mill in 2 days off of that method. Plenty come up both BID and BIN with opportunities. Of course, you won't win them all, but you only have to snag a few for a solid profit.
Also, 84-86 cards are doing well for Evo fodder. It was 84s, but those are starting to dry up a bit.
So then do you buy the players that u keep on ur team or is this just ur approach at the start of the promo?
I thought I’d try to use this promo to make coins. I usually grind pretty hard and make players. Some I keep and others I sell. This worked very well in the last promo as I overhauled most of my team (completed 94s and Ray Lewis) and made some coin on top of that. I thought I’d try something new this time. This question is for those of you that take the sell everything approach to the promos. What do you do? Use the 75 and over players to make 80’s and sell them? Or make the 80’s into 85’s and sell them? Thanks for any input and advice. It is always appreciated.
