Like OP said....The golden question is when are their boosts overshadowed by others’ stats?
It would be sweet if someone techy could create a sheet that shows stat increases at each OVR increase for future boosting purposes/team building.
That would be amazing lol because currently I can't call if Dee Ford is giving boosts that matter or negligible increases that don't warrant keeping him when there's better LBs now.

I have Kamara and Hopkins. Put Kamara in FB spot here he doesn't do much (vert scheme) and isn't to bad anyways (97 OVR with his boost and Lott). Hopkins sits in the receiver spot I throw to least.
Can't complain about easy +1 OVR boosts to key offensive players

OP - it seems like McGlinchey is a shoe-in, but the others REALLY depend on your specific team, strengths/weaknesses, and even your gameplan.
for example, unless you run a LOT of 3-4 plays, i’d argue that Butkus’ boost is actually overrated.

idk how your Hopkins is built, but with Lott and OOP Deion, he has 98 Speed...
Ford is quite valuable for me. With Lott's boost, his stats are quite alright still. I love his boost though, that is the thing keeping me from dropping him off my squad.
I was considering parting with Ford since my D line is 99 but he still increases stats. Not sure if it's worth it or not. Also not sure I want to sell with the drop in value.

I have Ford. Not sure what to do. All the UF boosts plus his boosts to DE and DT. Can’t decide.
I have Chad Johnson, he is a good tall vertical WR, and I like the QB boost.
Ford and Butkus definitely, and I want to get Kuechly cause I like him, and prefer safeties in the flex spots
I still have a bunch (LVE, Ward, Butkus, Shockey, Ford) but I know a lot of guys are replacing them with TOTY and SB. Maybe I'll do that when the SB are on the ah
Are Butkus & McGlinchey the only Madden ghosts worth holding on to at this point?
I haven't been using most of my GOMs but held on to them in case they raise the stat cap.
