Might have profited from building John Ross (possible bad math)

Noticed my coin stack didn't really deplete at all during the John Ross Promo, did some numbers and I may have profited?
Just wanted to compare numbers with someone who completed the promo today:
Total Costs to complete Ross by Sat Night (10 days):
40k in packs, I missed one or two at most, we'll say 38 packs - 40,000 x 38 = 1,520,000 10 diamonds to exchange - I got 2 for free via the blitz tourney, 1 for H2H, one pull, 6 @ 100k, = 600,000 10 Elites to exchange - All from OD/Blitz tourney, Got 3 trophies from Blitz tourney, 5 from this OD season, 1 from season mode, 1 from this week's Blitz tourney = 0 38k Blitz Tokens (Not sure what 1 BT = gold right now, but this is 1k Blitz Tokens for 2 plays) = 2,120,000 + Blitz Tokens
LESS:
Made my first 93 and sold it for 1,100,000, bought one back at 300k to exchange for emblems I did NOT need. = 800k

I suppose, but since we're talking about coin stash only, wouldn't it be close to net even since if I sell them instead of turning them in, I'd have to buy some back anyways? Making it kind of pointless to include?

I build double boosted Ross, kept all 5 97 and sold all 5 93s plus the players I replaced and came out roughly 1 million plus. I started the promo at 7.3 million and now am at 8.3.
Plus I technically already invested into building CC Cook. So my net plus is probably above 1 million.
Combine was a trash event, but I will say a very easy one. I didn’t pay attention enough, and thought there was no way I could finish 4, so I gave up. Then I realized I could and I did, making the mistake it could’ve been possible to finish all five. None the less, I got four with Ross.

First couple days of promo I saw a couple sell for around 4 mil bin... People have no patience!
