Caps on Trophies?

As far as I know....I don't think there is. But we wouldn't know until someone hits it. You do have a point maybe instead of exchanging them you can just save the gold players on bench and exchange them as needed when you need them.
Any idea if there are caps on the number of trophies you can have?
Trying to figure out what to do with my CC Gold II overflow.
And I keep impulsively buying more 79 OVRs for under 1k. There's no way those prices last for ever. Gold II worth 2 trophies are cheaper on the AH than Gold 1s that only exchange for one trophy. All EA has to do is introduce a trophies for blitz exchange in between promos, and gold prices will skyrocket...
