Great player and teammate but doesn't deserve a Career Tribute card. He isn't HoF worthy and his stats aren't spectacular. That is like saying AB deserves a CT card if he retired today.

DRC getting one is what is making everyone want every player who retires to have a career tribute. Baldwin was very valuable to Seattle. Did a lot that doesn't show up on a stat sheet. He was a leader in a locker room that had a young franchise QB and a lot of personalities.
Having said all of that, he was never a top 5 receiver in the game at any point in his career. His numbers aren't anything to write home about. And he didn't have a long career. He shouldn't get one. Just doesn't have the body of work. Sucks how it ended for him. He will have a big impact in his post football life. The Hawks should let him rest up for a bit then get him in the building in some capacity. Front office or position coach work seems like a good start.

Quote from OhCaptain20 >> I love my Seahwaks brethren on here and I mean no disrespect, but let's be honest, Doug Baldwin is not a hall of famer and does not warrant a tribute card. He became a great WR in Seattle but saying he is "2nd best behind Largent" may be true, but it's not really that close to me. Largent played in an NFL that wasn't near as wide open and didn;t have Russell Wilson throwing him the football.
Largent 819 catches/13089 yards/100 TD in 200 games Baldwin 493 catches/6563 yards/49 TD in 123 games
Largent is one of the best to ever lace them up. I could see if you wanted to recognize Baldwin as one of the best Seahawks, but not a career tribute. It's not personal, it's just the facts. We don't need a career tribute card every time someone gets cut or retires. These should be reserved for future HOF.
I need
Tribute Lynch Tribute Baldwin Tribute Kam Tribute Janikowski Movers Clark Movers Mike Iupati Movers Ziggy Ansah

Quote from KobeNewton >> We need a Career Tribute Promo. Get all the retirees(Lynch, Janikowski) and forgotten(Forte and Kam) our of the way
This would be cool. A career tribute promo.
As fan I want one,but he is not a good candidate for one. Kam is a diff story

You're an idiot
I guess somebody has an opinion. EA may or may not give him a card, but there are better players who haven't gotten tribute cards, so I wouldn't expect it. He hasn't even officially announced his retirement yet. Just because he was a great WR compared to other Seahawks in the past, doesn't mean he was one of the best in the NFL
He definitely deserves one. The impact he had on Seattle and the fact that he went from being an undrafted player to a star WR in the league says enough. If you watched him play, and know what he did for Seattle, it isnt even a question. Unfortunately EA probably wont give him one sadly.

I mean let's take a WR we once shared in common: Golden Tate. He was one of my favorite Lions, but I wouldn't even consider him getting a tribute and his numbers are on par if not better in a few areas than Baldwin in just 14 more games:
