Thanks for the FS SS answer, but I'm gonna have this thread closed or locked as the question became about in game play, but I needed the answer for just the lineup screen. Being autistic, I can only understand direct answers. I'll give 2 people some MHC that answered the question without giving more information than asked. Sorry if that's rude, just even more confused about the lineup screen now with Gurus answer and such. Great guy, just confused.

I meant right on lineup is weakside and left is strongside. So the safety, DE and LB on right lineup will appear on your left hand side in game and vice versa

I thought I understood but this answer is confusing. I'm just asking lineup screen lolb RE LE. I can switch it during game play, but ststing it eight LT and offense my mind doesn't comprehend it.
It's pretty easy to test this. Just go into a season game select any cover 2 man and see who's on what side.

What is your definition of "most important"? I like my best coverage LB on the right of the lineup to be in nickel formation.

O goodness... I still thought it was on the left too. I’m gonna have to go check all these spots out, I think I’ve had them all wrong. :(
The easy way to figure it out is play a season game and run the different blitzes. that will let you know who is who.
Good grief. Why can’t they just line up how we put them in the screen or at least label them. Unnecessarily confusing

I voted but this year and last it doesn't matter.
There is no FS or SS. It is Left Safety and Right Safety. Defensive plays flip and the same play can be ran back to back and each safety swapping duties
