............... I'm looking to replace 83 OVR Julio Jones (Base) with a good higher-OVR "gameplay" receiver. I have 84 Ted Ginn Jr. and 87 Odell. There aren't many, but i was initally looking at H2H Golladay (slow, but tall) and Phenon Marquise Brown (short, but fast).
Also........ does the "release" stat really matter? I know what it is, but does it matter gameplay wise.
Quote from ickyswood >> Odell then everyone else. I still enjoy Tyreke Hill
Quote from gojojo1013 >> Base Julio plays above his 83 rating. I have a feeling we will be getting a good WC receiver or scheme select able WR in the near future.
Quote from ncbeach20 >> OVR doesn't matter. Julio is Julio.. every tier.. every scheme... all of his cards will all have the same traits...like clutch. An easy test for anyone reading is the QB trait "senses pressure" ...let the ai auto control different qb's and watch the differences in how they react...Its why cam scrambles at the slightest hint of a rush and rogers doesnt. Or swap HB's and notice which ones fall forward and which ones don't... the fight for extra yards and high motor trait is blindingly obvious to any seasoned mobile player..
I'm just saying. If memory serves. Heystevedave wrote last year those traits aren't in mobile... Just like THA and others

Depends on how you play and what routes you favor...personally I wouldn't upgrade Julio right now. And yes not only does release matter but each player.. Julio for example... has "hidden" features... you can find them on the console card information. Things like "ball hawk" and "fights for extra yards" ect.. are hidden gems for serious players.
75 OVR Aces Kevin White has 84 Speed, 64 Strength, and is 6’ 3”.
Still probably the best WC build in terms of a combination of the above attributes.
Odell and Hill, thats about it. Streak to Hill and Odell is your route runner or WR2 in my case.

I agree, 83 Julio was my out of scheme slot for a long time. He plays very well and goes for the ball properly.
