Daily snack challenge - spent 50 stamina but no item received

Just because there’s a check mark doesn’t necessarily mean that there aren’t any additions rewards for playing again. (For example, PTG map win after halftime event)
True but at the same time it does say daily. So it makes sense its only 1 time a day.

No, I fully understand that. But this one did have the stamina cost even after playing it once and it did take my stamina. That's why I made a post here because that really shouldn't happen.
It's called the "Daily Snack Challenge", since you are only allowed to play it once per day to get rewards. Once you have the green check mark, you will not be able to receive any rewards upon playing it anymore, although, you will still be able to play it for "fun" without any stamina cost.
I just noticed that the daily snack challenge showed that it would cost 50 stamina to play. I have played it earlier, but since it had the stamina cost there back again, I assumed it was reset somehow. But after I played the event, there was no reward pack given. So I spent 50 stamina for no reward. And now it just says play without any stamina cost. Anyone else experienced that? Am I a fool to have tried it?
