We discovered that users were able to incorrectly use cards in evolution sets to upgrade players past their intended OVR. This issue has been fixed, but there are a number of cards out there at high OVR that have an impact on competitive balance.
We took the following actions:
Implement a temporary augment on the affected players, reducing their OVR down to 94
A 96 OVR player will receive -2 OVR
A 98 OVR player will receive -4 OVR
A 100 OVR player will receive -6 OVR These players will gradually return to their original OVR as the season progresses. There was targeted in-game messaging to users who have obtained any of these high OVR cards.
