A 70% winrate will get you to top 500 OD in about 60-70 wins. A 100% winrate will get you to top 500 Arena in close to 200 games

Currently the cutoff will end up maybe in the 5500s, most likely higher. That means if you went perfect and got 29 points each time, it will take almost 200 games to get it without losing, meanwhile most of us have probably played well over 200 including losses.

OD > Arena still.

I mean you can be a terrible player and still be in the top 500 easily in Arena if all you do is use your stamina on it lol. It honestly should be fan based once you hit 925.

Yeah and I've seen guys do it it just under 70 which is crazy.  My best is 75.  And the rewards are 2x as good as compared to Arena like you mentioned.

Arena is way worse

I think arena is great; great rewards, partial rewards for a loss vs taking such a step back for a loss in OD, and it’s an easily grind able event that you can do throughout the day, with pauses if needed. OD blows, i try to get my 3 wins a day for the daily and that’s it.

Quote from Samfromfrisco >> Arena has nothing to do with win rates, unless losing makes you play less. One is volume based. The other is based on a win percentage.

Due to time constraints between using all my stamina daily, and taking care of responsibilities like promos/programs, daily goals, and lvl, I rarely have time to complete either competitive mode anymore- let alone grind for a good rank.

If you win 100 games avging 20, that's 2500 points

If you lose 100 games avging 20, that's 2000 points and 2500 stamina wasted

Is it important to have a good winrate in arena? not as much as in od, but it does matter, as it'll be way less stamina, and less games to hit your goal overall.

What's worse is that a 70% win rate in Arena is probably the same number of games needed for top 500. It's only about bulk grinding, not skill

You are only correct for those who’s only care is getting in the top 500. I personally don’t care what the rewards are, I will NEVER play enough games to get into top 500 in either. I will play a heck of a lot more Arena than OD though, because to me OD has nothing to do with actual football and is just boring and tedious. OD is definitely not better than arena

The leaderboard may be better for OD... beyond that I would have to disagree. OD does my head in, the whole concept and execution.

It needs to be tweaked to penalize a loss after reaching HoF.  They could keep the same structure up until one reaches the HoF tier then start to penalize losses.  What fun is it to beat up on low over all teams over an over.  Oh and add once you reach the penalty phase, you only match against others who have reached it. This way everyone could get the awards with straight grinding but make it more competitive to reach higher tier awards.

I miss weekend tournaments

what’s funny is EA took half a year to implement about the worst leaderboard structure imaginable.

EA is in perpetual “Hold my beer” phase.
