What do you get for the RTTD season mode?

Currently at 2500 gems. Should be able to get to 4K today or tomorrow if I grind. Is it worth it? Does it give anything good? Or is the master series one better?

Also do I need to use promo stamina to play the games? If so that is a deal breaker
