Power is the worst thing to happen to LvL

I know it was a rush-fest before. But changing the system so that Power affects LvL may have put the death knell into the game. It's become more and more towards a Pay to Win/Cheat game, which is sad.

Just bring back hard counters already, this is getting out of hand. It's got to the point where top 300 leagues can't break into top 200 etc etc. All down to power.

I just took down a 1600 team on lvl. They ranked 108. I got my power up to 1500. I play the blitz tournments to power up my team! The 2 high elites you receive from getting to level 6 gives you 30k tp points every week! Dont sell them! Use them to power up your team!

And a 1400 can score against 2000, but you have to work on your drive.  But a 2000 team can easily drop three 1-play TDs.

 This was exactly my point - it's not football - it's P2W

The consistency for all teams in a league with that differential to score 24s make it extremely unlikely. Yet you can have the same players juiced up on power and bam, easy 5/6 yards per play - regardless of defensive strategies.

Seems people don't care unless it's flashing in front of them. Than it's time to complain about it. Oh well. It's usually the casual only guys that complain about this stuff

I agree

Ever since the first Madden Mobile, I can not figure why players can't just play to their OVR and why there needs to be a boost. I am not going to spend any real money for Madden Cash and I auction players as I get gold and I just got to 1000 power...but when I get paired with someone who has 800+ power more than me because they spend real money. Why does there need to be a boost?

Quote from robertk328 >> Quote from jimmythehair >> Since Power effects LvL, you should be able to be able to see an opponents power level along with the players Offensive and Defensive Levels so you have a better idea what you are up against before you pick them to play against them. The way it is now, you might see a player that looks like an even matchup to find they have a much higher or lower power level. It makes it a crap shoot picking an opponent in the other league instead of a stratigic choice.

check the level on the card. a 90-92 should be 40, but if trained it will show more. if you see 50-60 on all of them then you know you're outgunned if all of yours are 40.  you don't see the total, but scout them and you'll see what you could potentially face.

One day its make stats/ovr matter then its complaining about pay to win.  EA is a company trying to make money and they are putting out a product now that rewards customers who pay, what is so bad about that?

I have a very nice team (1350ish power) and can hold my own against teams getting +4 ovr boosts.  It's tough but it should be.

Probably my bigger concern is with league hopping as this allows a few users to spend a lot of money and control a large part of the leaderboard.  Great that customers who spend money (and likely have skill) are on top, lets just not let them control multiple spots at the top.

Training and team power is stupid this year. It costs many many millions of coins to train up.
