For the first few weeks of life baby kittens require mom to lick them in order to pee or poop. I learned that last week because my wife works at our county animal control shelter and we had to foster a preggo kitty. Now I've got 7 cats running around our house, 2 of which are ours, AND I'm allergic to cats. Lol
