Hey there fellas! Im proud to say that at some point today I will be making my 2000th post here on muthead. Its been a fun and unexpected journey, and I must say I really enjoy being a part of this online community and have met alot of great individuals!

Many of you have been very generous to me over the past year and I would like to give back a little something, as its fitting that this post comes as we approach the christmas holidays. Being one of the few members here who still plays on the xbox 360, MHC is fairly difficult to obtain. But never the less I would like to give away 1.25MHC for 2k! there will be 3 winners total thanks to generous donations from MatttheGreat2156 and theGr8cujo!!

To enter: All I want you to do is tell me What is your favourite sports memory?

Thanks for the giveaway, man!

I'd say my favorite moment in sports was when Randy Johnson hit that bird during a spring training game against the Diamondbacks. I was just a little kid, so that was quite impressionable to me lol.

very generous Matt - thank you!! There will be multiple winners now, I think ill close this at midnight tonight.

MrWoof10

Congrats on 2k! I'll do personal accomplishments, and a pro sport memory

For professional, I would have to say Jermaine Kearse's catch in the Super Bowl would top it for me. Being a Seahawks fan, I was jumping up and down when he had made that catch, and for it to be my favorite Seahawk as well, made it even better. That, and the Seahawks DESTROYING the Broncos was an amazing site to see. Thanks for the giveaway, keep on grinding.

For myself though, it would probably be my first soccer goal, which ended up being a game-winning goal as well. I was like 12 or 13, my second year of soccer, and I was playing 2-3 age groups up. I believe it was the final game of the season, if not the one before. All I remember really is that it was a deciding game to go to the Championship. The game was tied 2-2 or 1-1, and there was like 15 minutes left. I had ignored what coach said about staying back, cause he was playing for the draw cause our best player was hurt, so he wasn't confident. I had an open break, and cut inside and someone missed the pass, but one of the defenders tried to clear it, and whiffed so I got to the ball and scored in the top left corner and ultimately won the game for us. Although, we got killed in the championship, I'll never forget how I scored my first goal as a game winning goal.

Thanks for the giveaway man! and congratz on 2k posts! I am tempted to say either time my NYG beat the Patriots in the suberbowl since I live in Maine and everyone here is a Patriots fan and both times we were underdogs. I'm also tempted to write about the time me and my gf almost didn't go see the celtics last year but then we did and they ended up making a 7 point comeback in the final 25 seconds against OKC! Totally worth driving 4 hours down and then 4 hours back at like 3 am. BUT instead I am going to say the time that my high school (of roughly 1,000 students) Was ranked by ESPN as the #22 high school football team in the nation! I was in 6th grade at the time but I played football and oh boy did I look up to these guys! Let me set the background a little bit, in the 90s my HS's team was garbage, I'm talking roughly 2- 50 over 3 or 4 seasons, then we got a new coach and everything turned around. I played under this same coach when I was in high school, he was named coach of the year 3 out of 4 times, we went to states 2 of those 4 years (Got crushed by a much bigger and private school both times, we were a small public school) we also won 25 straight regular season games and went something like 34-1 in three regular seasons. But I digress, in 2006 we went to states, I was in 6th grade and made the three hour drive with my cousin down to the game. It was so worth it! We ended winning 14-13 to a much larger school and only one due to an incredible point after block made by two star brothers! It was absolutely an amazing game to watch! We ended up barely losing to a private school in states the following year.

Congrats on the 2k posts!

ive long been a fan of my favorite player Jerome Bettis.  I followed his career with a passion, read his books and even travelled to Pittsburgh just to eat at his restaurant “36” and see him play.

The moment ill I’ll never forget was my trip to Canton to see him enter the hall of fame in person.  My wife, brother, dad and I had an evening we’ll always remember.  If our memory should happen to fade all we need to do is replay the induction ceremony because there we were right on camera front and center of the camera waving our terrible towels.

Thanks for the giveaway first of all, and my favorite sports memory would have to be the year the panther went to Super Bowl but the ended was my least favorite lol.

My greatest sports memory is when I went to the Steelers vs. Lions game is 2013. My dad somehow got a good deal on tickets, even though he isn't a Pittsburgh fan, and he took me and my friend to the game. It was really rainy, like holy crap... so much rain. It was the first and only Steelers game I've ever been to, and I really hope I get to go again in the future.
