Try taking a blow dryer on cool setting and blasting the holes and openings on every side as dust could be a problem. If that doesn’t work it’s a transistor that’s burned out and needs replaced. Send in to get fixed which takes a month to six weeks. There are YouTube videos on how how to take it apart and fix with tools and equipment needed which is a violation but your not warranty covered anymore. You could buy a used x1x now they have been out awhile.
I just got an xbox one x a week ago as a birthday present from my wife (best wife ever). I didn’t think it would make a huge difference but it actually does. If you have the funds I say go for it.
I remember a trick with xbox 360 where you opened up the shell and placed pennies inside then put it back together throw towels over top of the xbox and let it overheat i believe for 25 minutes and viola, it actually fixed my rrod back in the day. Id go with the cheapest xbox you can get since new consoles will come soon anyways. Good luck with it.

Loading time seems great but I really only play online like draft duels
Alright I’ll probably stick with the X s I would think about ps4 but I already have stuff on Xbox I’d rather not just lose. I also am at college and don’t have a great tv so I don’t think the Xbox one x would do much if anything graphics wise. If there could be a new console in the next couple years I should definitely not get the one x
It drops the loading time of solos from ~47 seconds to ~14 seconds (timed from me and a buddy) which adds up quickly, if that matters to you.
If you play play online generally you have to wait as long as the slowest person so doesn’t matter quite as much.

I was thinking about picking up an Xbox X as well, but that’s becuase I play games like RDR2. I most likely won’t though, because of speculation of a new generation of consoles in the near future. (Don’t hold me accountable hear, but just quick research I’ve looked throug). I don’t really know if an Xbox one X makes a huge difference for madden, I’m sure it would though. I know for RDR2, the difference is quite noticeable. Maybe someone that plays madden on an Xbox one X can chime in.
