EA's Auction House is so unethical. Filters are garbage!

In that case the harvest type you may have been looking at didn't have a ton listed at the time. For example, lets say you're looking for the 87-88 harvest players there may not be as many listed as the lower overalls. So just going to new could possibly show you the newest cards listed and say 59 mins remaining.
What I was talking about is when there are so many cards of that type listed that just switching to show newest and even applying filters become useless. Then even when searching for that exact card not matter what you do, it will never show you the cheapest card for sale and you constantly over pay.

I agree, when you are searching 90-91 ovr and sorting by newest it should show you the newest ones posted. Problem is the sort option doesn't actually change which cards show up, only how they are sorted. You should be able to search for the newest 90-91 ovr and have the AH show the 100 newest listing regardless of anything else.
It does allow me to get some nice deals on PC though lol.

That would be amazing if they did that. But I bet EA avoids doing that because they would lose money. They probably would rather have you spending more coin so you run out faster and might be more likely to spend real money. I have no idea. But I want to be able to search by exact price and overall on my xbox lol.

the reason you were seeing a 1k card after you bought the 6k card is because the card you bought allowed the cheap card to be seen at the start of the promo there was more then 100 of each gold player on the ah at a time so even if you searched for that one specific card so if you bought one for 6k at 30min remaining well you just allowed that 1k card that was up for :30:05 to be seen because you took the other one off the block

But what I was saying is that they were showing cards for 5900 coins with 59 mins remaining and 23 mins remaining at the same time and would occasionally show 1 card for 2300 that had been listed for 29 mins. If they were doing it by the first 100 cards posted by time then I wouldn't be able to see the 5900 coin card with 59 mins remaining at the same time as the 5900 coin card with 23 mins remaining.

That's an excellent point. However, they seem to show the higher priced cards than the lower priced cards. If anything they should set it to list the lower priced cards with sprinkle of higher priced cards if they don't want to spend the money to make sure they have adequate servers to make it work properly.
I understand it is a business, and if I was EA I would probably do the same until I'm forced to make the correct changes. I just think it sucks, and at a minimum they should add additional filters to help get around their server issues.

I know there's people that over pay for cards on the Auction House because they don't know how to properly use the auction house. (In those situations that's on them for not knowing better.)
However, let me give you an example of how EA is really sticking it to us.
When the auction house is loaded with cards during a new promo, the filters will become useless no matter how good you are at using filters.
Take the harvest promo for example. I was trying to search for 75-79 Harvest golds. I realized that I needed to filter it down further. I decided to search by individual player. Even if you are zoned in one specific card, say the 76 Overall Harvest Wes Schweitzer from the Falcons. If the AH is loaded you will not see the cheapest cards on there.
It was irritating because I was paying 6000 coins for a card that EA shows as being a newer listing. Then once in a while EA will allow one card that is 1-3K coins that had been on the auction house for over 30 minutes at that point.
