It's the same filter as the one in your binder. It's easier on EA's part to have the same filter.

I think you're talking about thresholds, like for red chems and more than one of the same scheme chem. Yeah, there are thresholds that have to be met to put Conductor or Gunslinger on a QB, etc. And then 88 OVR is the threshold to put 2 of the same scheme chem on a card and 93 OVR for 3x.
Don’t some players have different attributes that give them different chems?
What do you all think it's for? I've spent a lot of time messing around in the auction house lately and staring at that filter for some reason. I keep wondering: "Why is it there?" We've assigned the chemistry to our cards since the beginning this year. But the filter is still there. Every time you go into the auction house...title update after title update, patch after patch, tuning after tuning, promo after promo... the Chemistry filter is still there. If you try to use it for anything, you get no results because you have to remove chemistry from a card to auction it.
So I can only think of 4 reasons why it would still be there.
1. At some point, auctionable cards will be released where the chemistry cannot be changed.
2. At some point, the cards we attach chemistry to will be auctionable.
3. At some point, once you add chemistry to a card it will become permanent and auctionable.
4. EA overlooked this filter option and it has survived on dumb luck from earlier years' versions of Madden.
