This is the biggest issue in Madden right now..

I also believe this. I assume you guys are speaking on h2h but in solos whenever my guys fuck up I go check the replay, in past maddens the only player to have a user circle around them was the guy I was usering at the time, but this year when I check them out there's more than a few players with user circles around them and I've noticed my "cpu usered" players usually play like complete shit and give up big yardage all the time.
I don't know if it's the biggest issue but yea, it's annoying as Hell. That started with M19 and it's something that EA should've fixed immediately. The game play in M19 is worse than M18, which was worse than M17, etc.

Its that players don't animate a lot of the time! I can't tell you how annoying it is to have the ball thrown right through my players body, even when I've clicked on at the right time. It just rewards players that make bad reads.
Other than that.. This games not as bad as 18.
