Safeties seem non existent
Seems like a good year to user a high safety on most snaps. And I feel like I user better in space than being in the box as a MLB anyway. Sometimes the best use of the MLB is as a CPU spy anyways. Yes indeed there is more risk usering a safety but there is also more freedom.
I had PU Diamond Amos and PU Full Taylor and sold them both off because my safety play was non existent. Went with a cheaper option in PU Landon Collins and 88 Taylor. They work just as well
I have Ronnie Lott and he is useless in the pass game in any kind of deep blue zone. He really shows up in the run game. In the solos battles, he is behind the LOS on every run to his side! But nowhere to be found in the pass game. TD Amos out plays him.
Was thinking of trading down for Earl Thomas from all the good things I’ve heard. But is he that dominant in the run game?
Need to have 90+ zone. I have max power ups Harrison Smith and Eric Berry, as well as 30/30 LD chem and they’re elite ball hawks. Come up with any ball they have a possibility to make a play on.
I agree with this full legend Taylor has done nothing for me but full power up Kam makes so many plays (mainly hit stick fumbles and strips) same with base elite Thomas. I click on and manually play everything I can but the issue is just being in the right position on plays imo.
I run base earl Thomas and Eric berry they make plays. i have a theory it’s something to do with a having both high awareness and play rec.
86 Sean Taylor did nothing for me so I changed to earl and never looked back
if they nerfed the 91 zone they had to put something else in..... but again just a theory of mine
Joyner and Collins have made plays for me in solos and H2H. I have PU flashbacks on both.
Joyner jumped a wr screen for a pick in one h2h game.

Perhaps that is the problem. EA likes to Nerf teams/players that are too good early on.

Definitely this... They're, for the most part, not gonna be making insane plays like last year. Lott would hawk a ball down 30 yds from where he was and take it to the house on the regular lol

Yeah I’ve had Taylor and Dawkins on fully tiered LD. It’s made me not want to spend for high end safeties

they don’t make any plays for me in the pass game. Pretty frustrating
