I run Green RB1 ahead of Bo since I run Hawks theme, you'll be satisfied with your choice.
Quote from popitforpoppa >> Rookie premier josh jacobs is clearly the best runningback in the game
Yea right.
Quote from ModularMayhem >> Thanks for the help! :-( It made me decide to pick up Ahman Green.
Used him for awhile fully PU and he was effective. FYI the guy also streams on Twitch from time to time.
I have Bo.
Emmitt was pretty good for me. I was not a fan of J. Brown. He felt slow to me.
I sold them for coins so I am left with Bo right now but also looking for a complimentary back. I am thinking Saquon is the man for the job based on the above. Maybe Ill try Green too based on the reviews.
I’m running Dickerson and Barkley TOTW card and love rotation I have. Barkley is sneaking good gets through a lot of holes
No one talks about him, but Gauntlet Fournette is a good super cheap (free) option. Yea, he doesn’t have the high overall or speed as others, but I put him in with Bruiser and pin-n-pull guru and he’s been playing lights out. Routinely gets at least 5 yards a rush (which fits my scheme well) and occasionally gets through for a huge gain. I don’t think I have had him fumble yet. He’s gonna be my main unless we get a good 49ers back in the SB promo.
Quote from ModularMayhem >> Reporting back after a few games with fully powered up Ahman Green. This guy is a freak of nature! Fully chemmed up with Sprinter he has 96 SPD. I run wrecking ball for his X-Factor (High success rate on next three trucks or stiff arms) and then gave him Juke Box, Arm Bar, and Outside Zone Guru which gives stronger blocking on those style plays. He has one of the nastiest stiff arms i've seen. I couldn't believe it last game when the guy I was playing came flying over, usering ST, and I just stiff armed him out of the way like he was some crazy stalker lol.
His player model is about the same size as Saquon, but a little more filled out in those pads. The only thing i'm concerned about is the 90 carry, so knock on wood fumbling isn't an issue with him. I think AP has low carry as well and I never have fumble issues with him, I guess it just depends on your running style and probably the fact that I always cover up, sometimes prematurely because I know that's all it takes to swing momentum if you cough it up.

Why can’t you sell Bo and Saquon and get Dickerson? Anyway, if you insist on not using ED, I would recommend giving Okoye a shot at being your power back. I hear Nick Chubb TOTY is very similar as well, so maybe you can PU him to 94? Alternatively, I recommend giving Zero Chill CMC a try. There’s several good backs available for not-insane-amounts of coin. Jim Brown will be useful too but pricey if you don’t have a PU Pass for his Legend and/or NFL 100 item, since you will need both plus TP.
I’m in for answers. I’ve been looking at 95 Marshawn Lynch instead of Bo Jackson, because I already have Dickerson and think he’s a better starting back. The 96 speed on a powered up Bo is what has me wondering if he’s worth it, but if I’m mostly using him a a third down/power back, then maybe Lynch would give similar results for around half the cost.

Appreciate the reply man. Yeah, some people are too caught up in the politics of this game if you know what I mean.

I currently have 95 Bo Jackson and he's a great runner on the perimeter, but not so much on inside zone runs for me, whereas the complete opposite is true with Saquon Barkley. Saquon can squeeze through the slimmest of holes and pop out the other side and make a huge gain over and over again. I've kept his PU'd 92 card for a while and actually had his 93 ToTW when it first came out, but sold him for 375k and now that I was able to get him for under 200k I decided to put him in my PU and keep him and get rid of Bo while his price is holding pretty well in the mid 300s.
I like to run with multiple backs all game and use Saquon as my, between the tackles-HB/pass catcher. Bo is my bruiser who doesn't run too well between tackles for me at least, but is great on the outside and can really stiff arm and truck over anyone. I also use 91 AP boosted to a 92 OVR to spell either back and he is very versatile between the tackles or on the outside, but I just wish he had more speed than +1 from my team chem. I hear he's getting a PU soon or maybe even an upgrade. That's not why i'm here though. What I want to know is there any back that is close to performing like Bo in toughness and always falls forward, yet cheaper? I was thinking maybe someone like Jim Brown or Emmitt Smith. Neither would have to be my "bell-cow" so to speak, since I rotate backs often. Please don't recommend Dickerson, I know he's phenomenal and hard as hell to put on the ground, but he's also more expensive than Bo Jackson and I simply can't afford him. Thanks for your input!
