Best Game of MUT 19 So Far

So I had some time to play this morning and I'm currently sitting 4-1 in Weekend League.  My offensive scheme can only be described as a "work in progress," while I'm starting to figure out how to throw people off on defense.  Don't get me wrong, good players are still dotting me up, but I've been great at red zone defense and I'm finding some decent coverage defenses.

Anyway, my last game this morning was my best of the season by a good bit.  Playing a guy who knew how to use Vick & the Saints offensive playbook.  He was givin' me the business pretty darn well.  I, on the other hand, was running a lot out of I-Form Slot -- Stretch, Iso, Slants, Slot Wheel.  It's a mini-scheme that I've used pretty well to churn clock and methodically move the ball.  We go back and forth and he has a 14-7 lead at halftime after he scores on that Fake Screen Wheel play up the seam to Tyreek Hill with :05 on the clock.  I was infuriated.  Dumb play by me.

I get a field goal in the third quarter and hold him scoreless, but I throw a dumb interception out of Singleback Bunch -- I threw an out route against a man blitz and his Patrick Peterson ran under the out route and nabbed it.  Ah well.  He drives the field easily and has the ball at my 15-yard line with a first down and 1:30 left in the game.  I stuff him on first and second down, then sack him on third down.  All of my timeouts are gone.  He kicks the field goal to go up 17-10 with 1:07 on the clock.  Touchback on the kickoff.  I start out with PA Crossers and he covers the crossing route, leaving Jerry Rice wide open on a hot-routed slant.  I get out of bounds at my 40-yard-line with :56 left.  He's playing deep, so I call Levels Y Sail back-to-back and dump the ball off to Le'Veon Bell on the table route, who gets 20 yards total and gets out of bounds both times.  :43 left.  I call Dagger and get the ball to Jerry Rice on the deep in route against his Cover 3 to the 25-yard-line.  Clock running.  I get to the LOS and snap the ball, PA Crossers, and hit the crossing route to Tyreek Hill, out of bounds at the 2-yard-line with :16 left.  I run quick slants and find Hill late for the TD with :09.  All tied up.
