Solo Battle Insta-Sacks

I run the Titan's playbook.  I still use crossers you just have to be smart and not throw into coverage.  It's not always open.  You also have to read the defense.  Im able to run inside zone alot and average about 5 yards a carry.  If i see the computer is in man ill audible into crossers.  Also drags are good or HB swing passes.  Just find what you are good at.

Hey guys, not some giant news but ill share something. 

I dont run pa crossers. Nah, run pa post shot from trey form. Difference is the TE stays in blocking. Make reads and block the HB also. Slant the outside reciever and your golden.

Easier than ever for me and my team is an 83. Maybe I'm just getting accustomed to making the reads. PA Crossers to base Tyreek Hill running the shallow cross. Throw to TE (core rookie Gesicki..) on slant if Hill is covered and possession catch. TE falls to the ground safely. If that's covered look for the inside post to be open, if it's covered run with QB and slide or just take the sack. Defense: Nickel Mid Blitz usering the safety assigned to the RB.

Veteran Brent Grimes has been my MVP with multiple picks in man coverage. CPU thinks they can throw over him and he just goes up and gets it. Has a nice habit of getting the INT on deflections too.

Seriously, post-patch PA Crossers was covered against the 84-86 teams and the pass rush was brutal as well. And that was me playing a 91 team on the third level down. Barely won both games and PA Crossers delivered once when I moved my 93 Gronk wide and streaked him and he highpointed the reception in perfect coverage.

Yes, it loosened up a bit against the two teams in the 70's and I beat them both at the second highest level handily. Note the CPU never scored an offensive TD on me in any of the 4 games. But those two 80 teams had incredible D's.

I hardly ever run PA in Madden. Always seems like I get sacked. Only exception is a PA bomb to the slot receiver out of the Pistol formation in the Browns playbook. I hot route the fullback to pass block and it seems to hold up okay.

I dont understand you guys who say post patch you cant do anything.  I still run my fk screen wheel and pa crossers and dont notice much difference. Granted my moss has 93 speed and my other 2 recievers have 91 speed that could be why.

Running did some tougher yesterday.   Won all the games using a lot of slants and short runs.  I never use play action.

Not necessarily sacks but blocksheds as a whole seemed crazy yesterday when i played solo battles. As the one person said, i couldnt run either. Its usually tough but yesterday it was really hard and any type of PA seemed to be an instant sack

Level Sails, and make reads.

I used PA Crossers (Jets Offense) last night and blew out the CPU in all five games.  

I put my TE on a streak... slant the outside WR on the trips side... and block my HB.  When I get inside the 30 yard line I switch to Split Close HB Wheel... the HB on the table route is open a lot (especially inside the 5 yard line).  If not then hit the WR on that side which I put on a slant or drag.  

For both of these formations I sub in Veterans Marshawn Lynch who is a steal at around 60k and the best pass blocking HB in the game... but  you can also audible to inside zone with him if you don't like the defensive setup.

The patch has put solo battle CPU on roids. I had to run aggressive on run and on blocking to barely beat two inferior teams on the third level from the top? Nah. Not good.

I'll tell you I just played a solo battle, my 91 team versus an 86, third level from the top to get used to the patch. Won only 14-0.

Could not run AT ALL. PA Crossers is now defended very effectively. It honestly feels like they turned the game in significant favor of the defense. Not happy so far if that's the case.

 Not sure how long its been there, seems new to me, but in the m19 database section there is now a playbook section where you can look at every formation in every pb. Check it out.

 On Xbox you can hold the right trigger to cancel the Play Action, then bomb that pass to your slant route when he clears coverage. If you are still getting sacked try modifying the pass protection on the side that is running the blitz, also hit that tight end on the slant route for a quick 8-10 yards.
