I thought they did not lose it.
I had 2x RS twice on Clowney making him RS x4
I upgraded and he now has none. He has 1 upgrade slot that I can add x2 too, but lost the 2nd slot.
(Probably was known and I just thought they retained what they had before power up.)

The 2nd Slot is in Physical. My other cards had Sprinter, Brawler, etc., the TD has those plus Schemes as well.
