Cornerbacks as Safeties

 Funny, I’m OCD about this too, so I don’t like playing guys OOP. I’m just curious if anyone has had success doing this or if it’s a bad idea!

 Yeah, I have backup safeties with LD chem, so if I put the CB’s OOP, I’d lose 4 LD chem points. I’d have to put ST and Amos as backups, so I’d get their chems. I have my DL with the chem that gives blockshed, so maybe I could change them around.

You can always use CB5 at starting safety so you don’t lose chems

Also, does anyone know how attributes are affected when playing OOP? On the depth chart the overall is affected, but it looks like the actual attributes don’t change?

 Nice lineup. I haven’t invested in Reed or Atwater but read good things about them. I was thinking of putting Deion at FS  and maybe moving ST or Woodson to SS. I’d lose Tier 6 LD if I did this, but may try it for a few games online. I don’t run a 46 at all either. I run a 34 maybe 20% of the time, 43 10%, and the rest out of 245 or 335.

I go out of my way to play safties at LB and CB in the 46, starting Atwater and Reed OOP.  I have fully maxed Rhodes and Ramsey on the outside, Shaz and Atwater in the yellow, Lott and Reed in the flats, Deion at FS to clean up the deep stuff, and run tier 3 madden.  Works for me, I love it.
