With all of these great LBs....
Does it even make sense to run a 4-3 anymore? Already 2 GT linebackers and a whole bunch of other great guys. Seems there is a shortage of DEs on this level. Is it time to switch to 3-4?
If you do figure out a way to stop the run consistently out of those formations please let me know but I got gashed..went back to 34 as my base set

I thought the same thing but I couldnt get those defenses to wrk. decent player will run all over you.At least they did me.There maybe a setup I dont know about but save yoursef the heartache..those defenses arent meant to be run as base sets
With in flux of new cbs and safeties I'm with above. 46 speed now.
My entire d has 99 hit power except Calvin at 98.
Everyone at 99 blk shed except Dawkins amd taylor at 94. Took toughness st or hed be about maxed also.
6 dbs and 2 olbs as my ends and 2 big boys inside. But now you can get an entire 99 blk shed 99 hit power secondary with 6 dbs on field and that's just nuts.

Also..dont be afraid to play LB at DE if they are pass rushing LB.
I play LT and Mack at DE in some sets and they are better than any DE I can get..
Example:
Nickle 335
LT and Mack at DE Mean Joe at DT
McGinnest at LOLB and Urlacher at MLB and I user Edmunds from ROLB
That is just an example but you always want to put your players in the best position to succeed based on their skillest

Honestly depends on who you have..some guys are much better suited for one or the other and trying to play them in a scheme that doesnt fit their skillset will hurt you.
Personally I switched to a 34 because of my LB awhile back(dont remember exactly when) and I feel like it was a good move.But my LB are sited for a 34 and I wouldnt try to fit them into a 43 scheme
