Hitting the upright solo help

Some of these solos are absolute garbage.

hope there is little/no wind. take the 4 stars and save yourself the frustration
Edged the kick aim until my controller was barely vibrating and kicked. Takes a few tries unless you are lucky, but it eventually works. Had a few double doinks while trying. Hit one post, bounced to the other, but didn't go in.
Yeah, I've got 5 stars on Rookie and Veteran, but it's mostly luck. I just aim to the right, so that my controller is barely vibrating and keep trying. It took me many less tries on Veteran than Rookie, though I'm not sure if there is anything to that or just chance.
Yeah this solo one was stupid i just took the 4 stars & 125 stars & ran not wasting countless hours trying to hit cross bar hoping it bounces in.
How do you guys do it and get the full 5 stars? It stinks it doesn’t give you the full kick projector and the only time I fully got the 5 stars was a miracle.
