No contracts in MUT19 is a carrot, then what is the stick?

not having to spend contacts is too good, but the way i know EA, it has to come with a lrice. Either less content so people will play more h2h this way, or h2h will cost tickets. I hope neither will happen but what do you guys think?

Probably the fact that it's still Madden and owned by EA. Whenever EA "does something good," always know that it's not out of the goodness of their (nonexistent) hearts, but just a bait 'n switch to try and trick people into buying another garbage Madden and getting sucked in.

It's at the point now where no one should buy Madden right-out, just wait until gameplay comes out and we know that it's at least better than the last two years (which've been the worst ever as far as Madden with MUT is concerned).

In my opinion the “tax” element outside of AH has always been contracts until this year where with less solos who cared about them.

With them hem going away the “tax” Cheese from EA moved over to “training”.  Gonna cost to train the team and that will be a drain on the account just kikecontracts used to be

Agree.  EA does nothing unless they feel it will benefit them.   Between all the training points and NAT power up chemistry stuff I'm sure we'll have plenty to be annoyed with. And they haven't even mentioned if there will be any changes to the trade block and/or auction house yet...

I don't see them giving out training currency solos either. Makes me think that while you might be able to power down your power up cards, they will be expensive dollars wise to achieve in the first place. Buy packs, get training currency, etc.

yeah. they've already said that the training points will cost turning low ovr cards into points, so maybe eventually we'll have to get a lot of cards in order to be able to power up players

This sounds about right but unless your getting significant upgrades on stats why would you want to power them up for cash. This year the power ups were just a stain on the game and I will take a lot of convincing before I power anyone up next season.

There will be a lot less set games, such as journey and gauntlet and it will gear a lot more towards weekly games like wl and boss battles.

Yeah dont see a big point in contract I will end the year will a bunch that will be useless and I dont think I've even been close to running out

they werent an issue only when they started giving the weekly 2500 contracts. no contracts mean imo that playing h2h will be less of a pain in the ass if you lose cause the cost of contracts won't cost you more than losing the game

PK67

Depends on how fast you do solos. I did need a few before the contract christmas present in M17

We all know EA. the bait and switch is coming.

They did that for a couple of months in mut17 but cancelled it after the community raged against it. Now with no contracts i fear they might bring it back again. Looks too good to be true
