Does TV size matter? (title edited)

I play on a 72 inch TV. Any advantage or disadvantage to playing on a big TV?

i play on a 55 with a 72 next to it for tv..I agree, that is a problem as my focus drifts to tv a lot

I'd say it's more just about finding the right spot to sit haha

I've heard small monitors(22"-25") are the best.

I'm having to play on a 720p 32 inch from 12 feet away (my room is all bed) and it SUCKS! It's so hard to make good reads and tell what's going on and I eat a lot of sacks because of it.

if you watch NFL games,  you throw the ball to the WR of the other TV

I have a 55” curved 4K Samsung and it is great. Picture wraps right around you, guys on the edge don’t seem to fade off vs a regular tv. My buddy has a 75” and I think sometimes I can’t pickup everything going on.

I would not play as well because a bigger screen means more space and longer to see the whole field. I used to play on a 55 in screen and then went to a 50 and found it easier to see the whole field. My wife had fussed that the tv was too big, but when I immediately started to play better it made me wanna play more and backfired on her plan

small monitor 25-32 inch is more ideal than a 55+ inch Tv. you see everything alot better as well. i play on a 47inch but its just casual gaming so it doesnt matter all that much, when i use to play COD competitively i had a gaming monitor for all the perks it comes with.

the ones who says size doesn't matter, have a small one

I use a 32" upstairs if I switch and go play on the 60" it does seem a  little harder but it doesn't matter for madden as it does for say call of duty if I play COD on the big TV I suck if I play on my 32" I'm a bad ass so yes I feel it matters

kennytn1

the only thing that actually matters is refresh rate

normal xbox one can't output 4k anyway

My best year was 16 I was hovering in and out of top 100 playing on a 32”. 2017 my rtime Ford was significantly worse playing on a 52” and this year I feel like I lose even more than last year. I win 15-17 games each WL but am only roughly 70-50 in seasons playing on a 65”

Noticed a similar phenomenon with fps games, but wonder if it has to do with us getting older and young kids (who presumably have more time to play) just being better these days.
