Madden is bringing back team mvps. We have lots of cards that need power ups and they dropped a hint dropping team packs in to the store. It all makes sense
they replaced team captains with mut heroes 1 and then team mvps with mut heroes 2, timeline checks out
However they did say motivators wouldn’t go into power ups, then changed their minds so ................
I always take anything EA says with a pinch of salt, they do what they think will make $$$

I like the MVPs theory, but mostly because I want it to be true. I'm leaning more and more towards them just being out of content and being like "we haven't put team fantasy packs in the store in a while, put those in there this week".

That's true, a lot of teams are getting jipped this year. I just miss last year when I was using players like Kendricks, Hunter, and Harrison Smith was one of the best safeties out there

No team packs in store because they want people to complete tokens for movers. They think that people's math skills are so poor that they don't realize that a team pack is about the same as a gold pack or that you can buy a token for less than the team pack. It is amusing that they troll their own community. The ONLY reason you would ever open a team pack is if there was a program that only dealt with players on a few teams and those cards were ultra scarce and high in the AH. And even then you may be better off opening gold packs. Ultimate EA troll.
I do think it is quite possible they give a bunch of guys 99s to cover up the Power Up mistakes. Will we really finish Madden season without Tom Brady getting a 99? I'd be surprised.
