I believe that EA has read us talking about "End Game Players." For example, someone powered up Darius Slay to T5 when his Easter card dropped, and posted about how this was an "End Game" card (at 97 ovr no less). Maybe he had T5 on Slay's chems and T12 Lions training, and he got Slay up to 99. I remember thinking that this guy was somewhat of a fool to think his 97 OVR Slay would be end game. There would be Golden Tickets that would surely outshine him. However, now we are nearing the end of June, and I am looking at Slay's pieces, thinking about Powering him up. I now realize how powerful of a chem PS is, and I have the NAT Slay from doing the Easter promo.
It looks like that Lions fan was right. You could make end game cards at Easter, with the right chem and team training combos. LT is still one of the best ROLBs in the game, if not THE best. I think this is a good thing, overall. The Golden Tickets didn't really outshine your old cards (besides the user gods Shazier and Floyd). Steve Young is comparable to many of the GT QBs. So is the lack of godly content by design, I ask you, Muthead?
