Counting cards. Which teams are favored?

I did something like this a while back, this is an update, carried out in a slightly less time-consuming way. It's a flawed methodology. I could have picked 89+ or 92+ and I'd have got somewhat different results. It's also flawed in that it doesn't account for power-up and vet cards being able to switch team. I'd hope some of that evens out, but it won't do so perfectly.

Cards excluded are:

Redux all legends except the highest one for each team Captains Tilman and Holt Core Elites As at 01/28/20 (am)

It's broadly a case of good teams getting more cards as one would expect, and playoff teams will definitely have had a boost. There's also an advantage for the more historic franchises.

Positive outliers: Eagles, Pats, 49ers, Steelers Negative outliers: Bills & to a lesser extent the Seahawks, both don't get many good cards despite having good seasons, but those cards they do get tend to be upper-echelon. Jags seem harshly treated however you look at it.

Yes they will get more tomorrow but they will more than likely end up being used as back-ups because the 9ers already have a great team theme with few holes.

I started the year with a 35/50 giants theme team, but little by little I've had to strip away because what EA puts out is unusable if you want to be competitive. Now I'm struggling to stay at 25/50. The 49ers and chiefs theme teams will only get better tomorrow.

Also not sure why you'd exclude Captains and Masters, as picking those cards is just as much "favor" towards a team as any other card, perhaps even more so, as they are consistently among the best cards in the entire game circle. If anything, they should count double.

Jags get the double-whammy of not getting many good cards and only having one power up on another team (Allen Robinson) with no others in sight.  They do get Vets Carlos Hyde, but that's an 87, and Amukamara, who is an 84, and they do have the best available Marcedes Lewis, who is currently a Packer.  There's a new Foles, but he's (rightfully) Eagles chem, and since he's a 92 he's unlikely to get a Power Up soon.

I’m someone that would prefer to not power up a card. I get it, but it’s still unfortunate that you have to spend tons of coins in training and for other cards just to get team chem

That actually makes sense.  It's a view of "how has the game rewarded your team's season."  Also (I should have checked this earlier, because the "unique" chart is the most meaningful, IMO), all of the Core Elite 88s have received upgrades. Quote from Nacaw

To be fair, the Seahawks really only have one player, but besides that, F theme teams.

Why did you exclude Core Elites?  The rest I understand, but that seems odd.
