I have a ton of "Aggressive" guys in my secondary, including Dawkins, Reed, NTL, and Blount. I also select "Play Ball" in my Coaching Adjustments. This all helps. That said, the possession catch animations will still sometimes do this.
Yeah, letting possession catch stop defenders from reacting seems like a terrible idea. Who knew? Not EA, that's for sure.
I don’t know why that happens sometimes. I had NTL stand flat footed in front of the ball cursor and watch a guy make a 4th and 27 conversion in the last weekend league. Other times he skies 50 feet in the air while trailing a route to pick it off.

Should he have been good enough to pick that ball and not get freezed for at least a full sec ? I'd think so Even if it was any other player with decent play rec and zcv that has to be a pick

that shit happened to me a lot when I click on..thats why i usually just let the CPU make the play
