Can you boost stats over 100 using chemistry?

So if I get a 97 throw power QB and boost him to 101 using tier 5 Go Deep, does he actually throw faster/farther than if he was at 99 throw power?

it is what makes 100+ stats even better - chems can't catch up to those crazy stats
