How did you beat the "Bonus Boss Battle"?

This thing is insanely difficult.

Dont overthink plays . Play it simple . Don’t go for long/intermediate passes because the game will screw you over . First game I went out guns blazing and got wrecked . It would be 4th and 30 and somehow cam newton would convert . The ridiculous catches jordy Nelson would catch on 97 deion was amazing .

from mar 9?? not sure what everyone is talking about.....last weekend??

Won first try, but it wasn't easy.  Typical chew clock, run, run, short pass, try to play solid defense.  Traded turnovers and punts.  Get to the 4th quarter tied 3 -3.  I move down the field, 4th down at the 10 yard line about 20 seconds left.  They block my kick, but I tackle them right away.  I'm figuring, ok  going to OT.

Sack on the first play, they spike the ball on the second play, sack/safety on the last play for the 5 - 3 win.

I played my butt off on defense because it was insanely difficult to stop Cam and his stupid rollout left, throw off back foot right handed past the line of scrimmage perfect DOT every single time. Once I got the ball back, I only ran it and chewed clock, unless it got to 4th and 7. Then I'd TE Angle for the conversion. I won 6-0 because I scored two FGs with the sole purpose of eating the clock. The hardest solo for me was the Pitch play from 25 yards out. It probably took me 30 minutes.

I turn the game off and come back and usually get an easy game.   A few games I couldn’t stop them or gain a yard  I’d come back and it would be easy.  I beat this twenty to nothing with a 91 Ovr and I’m not to skilled.   Just got an easy game. Like so many others get

damn 4th is a 90  lol whats your main?  lol

I just played it straight up. No money plays or tricks necessary.

On offense my goal was to take care of the football and control the clock and that's what I did. I ran the ball a lot. And when I was forced into a passing situation I simply took what the defense gave me. I didn't force anything or try for the big play. If they forced me into a punting situation then I punted the ball.

On defense my goal was to contain Cam and stop the running game first and foremost while also keeping their receivers in front and not allowing big plays. I ended up running a lot of Cover 3. Worked like a charm. I think they had 1 first down for the entire game.

You basically just have to play smart fundamental sim style football. I won 10-0 on the first try. It was a nice change of pace after those frustrating Heroic Boss Battle solos.

Offense I used the TE cross from Pats playbook. Engram dropped one pass the whole game and I threw 2 incompletes. No fumbles.

Easy Peezy, and I suck. Whoever fails this is not following the advice of others and just messing around. Throwing bombs, running stupid toss plays and trying to pretend they are real. They arent real. They are coded. So go run some boring drag routes for 15 minutes and get you a trophy towards a 99 player. :-)

I won 9-6. Couldn’t run at all except for out of the wildcat.

Quote from purewarrior8 >> Quote from sixftundrwnomrkr >> How did I do it? I simply played the game as if it were the same as any other full game solo challenge. I won the game 17-0 on my first attempt. Seeing all these posts about people not being able to do it is astounding.

You're obviously a pretty cool guy and way better at the game than everyone else.

DOT_CALM

Levels on offense and mid blitz on D with chew clock on. Super easy.

diimsday1044

I agree sometimes it’s not worth the trouble.

mvandor

One of many Boss solos I've found not worth the frustration to deal with. Only one card I had some interest in and I already have someone now playing in that slot at 99.

F EA.
