My vick is slower against lower teams..
I have several players at 98+ speed that regularly get caught by 90 speed players with terrible angles on me. And it’s always after I’ve won a few games. I can instantly tell if the game is going to make my 96 ovr team an 86 ovr team on my first drive. The animations, the player speed, and the blocking are the very obvious signs as well as how your defense reacts. If my CB stands around with a thumb up his ass with 96 speed, 99 zone, 99 man and 95 play rec while a bum ass Adam Thielan runs past him and then Mosses him I just quit even if it’s 0-0 because I already know it’s going to be hard to win against the DDA handicapping my players.
It's sliders designed to make a balanced game. It really is slanted too much in favor of the lower overall's though.
It’s DDA. Did you by any chance win 2-3 games in a row? If so, madden wanted you to lose a few. Ever notice some games your defense just stands around? Or your fastest players now have 85 speed? Or maybe your o-line gets insta-shed? Have you also noticed it happens after you’ve won a few games, and maybe won by 14+ points in those games? DDA. It’s in the game.
Probably the most annoying thing about this game. Just played a guy where my Ricky Williams with an OVR speed of 94 gets caught like he is running in water when he broke away. Meanwhile the guy is using Marshawn Lynch, he breaks one, and leaves all of my guys in the dust. My defensive players speeds range from low to mid 90's. Of course I had a significant lead at the time, smh.
Also one of my kick off returners is ghost of madden Ed Reed, with speed chem, so 95 OVR speed. Yet, a handful of times it looks like he is gonna bust one, and all of a sudden he gets caught by some lineman.
Lol my whole team is slower against lower ovr teams and I'm a 96 ovr so the avr team is under me ovr wise so I feel ya pain brother

Yeah, my Vick gets chased down by DTs often, meanwhile, my LB can't chase down a slower QB or RB. It's frustrating how much they help on the other team.
Decided to finish this game. Ricky williams would spin 8 times and my guys would fly by. This is what madden has become.
Meanwhile a base deon jones is covering the entire field. Maybe a pro can help me with why?
