i was lucky enough to get a code from Mut rewards yesterday. My first takeaway is going NMS should work well at least early. The campaign solos award a gold player pack along the way for each position on the team. I am up to a 78 overall with 29 more solos to go in the string. Skipping to level 10 is fine because you get the rewards and you can beat the campaign with the base team you are given at login. I played the first 20 solos with that team just to get my Mut Master objective done. The 10 legend solos have given the most experience so far. AB will carry your offense in these solos no need to have any worries about scoring. I am at level 17 and I have to get to 20 before I can upgrade Shaz or Ricky. The only thing I don’t like at least so far is the amount of training it will take to upgrade your team captain to a 90.
This year is going to end up favoring money spenders like never before. Buying packs is the fastest way to get training points for people who don’t care about dropping a few hundred bucks a month, and there are far more of these type of people than most think.
MUT has basically become a RPG with football games in place of arena battles. We’re going to eventually have the ability to put ST and/or +3 speed or whatever else you imagine on any player for the right price, and that price is going to be high.
There is too much money to be made for them not to go this route.
For people that will be doing solos 1st... they basically let you build an entire team with gold fantasy packs as you progress including kickers and punters. Even with a few elite NAT packs on the way. Then you get the level packs if you want to go that route also as you progress. I held off on picking a captain, powerup, and loyalty players and it was a wise decision. See how your team shakes out 1st. You don't get tons of training in solos use it wisely.
My receivers ended up being a track team- Hill (L12 pack), Martavius Bryant, Perriman Running back - Grant (89 spd) from fantasy pack QB - picked DeShone Kizer nothing too special stat wise 85 THP, 70spd, and mid 60 accuracy he was more than enough to endlessly bomb the cpu
I have noticed that as well Mike even on my old launch PS4 it loads quick. I also saw a load screen for the Journey at level 30 it says we will receive 121K, 12 packs, and the 89 Carson Wentz.
I'm liking it so far, I have 8 hours or so left on my trial and I am really noticing how quick everything loads. Literally less than 2 seconds to get back to the main screen after completing a solo, it's great!
Yeah I had a digital pre-order so I was able to get my HOF rewards on the account I had ordered that on.
