How long until high base elites drop to half their price the last couple years

Just thinking about using the power ups for the first month or two.  Didn’t play 17 and started in the spring last year.  Thanks.

I agree 100% there is no way they won't hold more value...Pretty smart move by Ea.. Does anyone think the game not just the menus but the entire graphics while crisp are much darker than last year's incredible graphics on PS4 pro? It is much dimmer to me, it was the first thing I noticed and now 5 days in...Not complaining just asking..

Honestly I think base elites will hold their value a little better with new format. Reason 1 Training point value will keep every elite somewhat relevant even when better cards come out. Reason 2 when new versions of players come out people will want the core elites in order to complete the full power ups of players. Granted prices are on the high end now and will drop but just in general I believe cards will hold value better than years past
