Do we know if the Team Diamond players will ever be used in power ups?

For example, the 92 Team Diamond Jalen Ramsey. If the Diamond card will never be needed for the Jalen Ramsey power-up, then I see no point in ever doing that diamond set. This is important information as the commitment to get the 92 cars is pretty high. I not only lose players, but it keeps now from getting the tokens I need to get the heavyweight packs that I want to get. If the Diamond cards are EXCLUDED from being used in the powering-up of players, then I would be better off keeping what I have and waiting for the next Jalen Ramsey card that can be used  the power up?

If you wanted to get a fully powered up ramsey, you would have to use his diamond card to progress it to the next tier. if you did a power up ramsey with the diamond, and wanted to sell him at some point, you can always refund the upgrade and get the card back, which is a lot better than last year.
