89 Slay worth it?

Would it be stupid of me to buy him for 330k? I have his card from lvl 36 pack powered up to 87 ovr and really want to buy his FB to make him a 90 ovr. 

But thats a lot of coins for a 89 ovr. Should i wait for him to drop in price or buy now? I have 480k with a 86 ovr team btw.

All the 89's seem like a tough sell unless you are very coin rich or just absolutely love the player.

Is the version you have still killing it? If so I would hold until his price comes down which probably won't be until well after the first promo so....
