Do what you want to do. That Journey grind is real. I did it but mostly for leveling up and the Shazier objectives.
I'm doing it to rack up mut master stats, get coins, and to QS that wentz for TP lol.
I also have pulled some auctionable elites from the reward packs early on.

If you want Wentz, you can get him for ~50 Series 1 Trophies. EA gave people the option to skip journey and reward people who only play H2H.
I did not know this. If this is the case then it’s a super easy choice for me to skip. Thanks fellas, just making sure I’m not crazy for wanting to skip.

I'm doing it since I'm gonna have essentially a 90 QB that is free. (FYI I sniped the PU for 1,500)
I'll do it eventually, but it is low on the priority list. I've gotten to the point where I do solos when I don't have time for a full game. So when I finish Diamonds and Gauntlet and the other decent solos I'll get to it.
Rewards are better in solo battles.
Even playing them casually and getting 150K points or so yields 25K a week plus some packs.
i'm working on the journey but not that excited about it knowing the rewards.

I was feeling the same way, I just finished the journey yesterday. Did it mostly for the coins and the packs(which I got nothing good from). Missed out on Ultimate the first week for Solo Battles, hoping to get it this week. I think Journey is fun to finish if you have any extra time..I sneak in about 1-2 hours a night and I was able to finish.
Didn’t do last years as Davante Adams was a waste of time and I don’t even remember who it was the year before (not the Clinton Portis one) but I remember that being a waste of time too. I can get maybe 2 or 3 full games in a day and I’d rather just do solo battles than get an 89 OVR QB when there are already a few better QBs than him. So if I had the choice of only working Journey or only working Solo Battles, which should I attack? I understand I’m also losing out on coin and packs too from Journey, but I’d be missing in rewards from Solo Battles if I did Journey.
