I usually pass lead outside, pass right as they break, hit x/a and try make sure your wr has -sideline catches trait = yes
as long as you pass the ball on at the right break of the route, pass leading inside should help. Always possession catch as well
another way to hit those routes (much easier, without a pass lead), is to make sure you are passing towards the wide side of the field
No matter what though, always possession catch it
try labbing these as well. There is a specific point in the route, where the defenders will bounce backwards, away from the pass. Thats another way to complete the pass without the need to possession catch on the wide side of the field. This way you remain in bounds and there is no risk of a pick and you could also get Yards after the catch
I like throwing this route against cover 3 and cover 4 but a third of the time it ends up with my wr catching it too close to the sideline and goes out of bounds for an incomplete. Any tips on how to avoid this?
