i actually have been updating rosters semi frequently with all time one-team rosters
Very few teams could do it. Steelers, pats look like the best. But teams will have holes
If you can find 9 or more starters from that team, it can work. There are only a few teams with that kind of depth in high-end players.
There are a small number of teams with enough high rated players to do it MAYBE. Not many. I run both the Chargers and Niners and can't start more than a handful of team specific players on either team.
With the team items being NAT, it really locks you into using specific team cards. Like I'm going to have 90 OOP Larry Allen forever at DT2 just because I want to keep my Cowboy players starting.
It really limits your upgrade potential.
It's worth it if you build around a team, but not entirely. The raiders & jags seem like good options, but I would never go beyond 12 players starting from one team.
Thanks .. I will look at it next year, but I was on the right path as you would overpay for some players along the way ! I'll stick with normal chemistry boosts
I think it's worth it. My Vikings team has 16 or so Vikings starting. If there isn't anyone 90+ then I start someone else. Vikings have gotten a lot of good cards. Most get +2 from the training.
I've done the Broncos Team Training to 12.. I don't run solely Broncos because the game has given me higher OVR cards at most positions like I got TOTY Casey Hayward so he starts over Talib and Harris. I think it was worth it... Once I made the replay Von (already had his power up) he was a 99ovr... I only have Broncos to Tier 2, I start 92 A Talib, 95 T Davis, 95 T Price, 95 Gauntlet B Marshall, 95 C Bailey, 95 D Ware and 97 V Miller. They all have a +1 on their ovr except Bailey and Von they are +2 because blanket coverage is at Tier 3... Once I can get a hold of a 93 harris I will power him up and start him, I just don't want to spend more than 400k on any player.
I have Steelers Team Training T12 and it helps get Mel Blount & Mean Joe Greene to 99, A.B. & Le’Veon Bell to 98, David DeCastro & Rod Woodson to 97. It’s fun to max out your favorite team’s best players, but it’s not worth the cost, quite frankly.
If you plan on getting multiple players from the specific team then yea. I have around 9 Steelers on my team since they're my favorite. I would have more but they're either really expensive or really bad
I made a Panthers team earlier in the year, but at the time they lacked a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. Then I found myself overpaying for players because of how rare they were at the time.
If you have a favorite team sure (unless it is a team like the jets, colts or browns they really lack good players). I really don't like any one team so I have not done it. I think your team could really be good even without a high overall. There was a thread on here yesterday where a guy created all the theme teams and some of the best overalls were Jags, Pats, Raiders, and Cowboys.
I see you can get the uniform/stadium/coach boost that way, but I found early in the game it was hard to build good team with high OVR using that concept?
Anyone completed to Tier 3 boost using these extra options (Coach/Stadium/Uniform)?
Is it worth it ...
Thanks
